So you're interested in The Village Players. Maybe you want to see a show, maybe (just maybe) we'll get you on stage with us, or perhaps you just want to work behind the scenes. Here's some information to get you started.
All of our shows run for three weekends (unless you really, REALLY like them and beg for more). During that time they show Thursday through Saturday at 8:00pm and the second Sunday at 2:00pm.
Please call our reservation desk at 419-472-6817 that way, you're guaranteed a great seat for a great show! If you don't, we do sell tickets before the show in the lobby, but there's no guarantee that seats will be available. We also sell houses to companies and organizations for fund-raisers and nights out, please contact our reservation desk, or see one of our friendly attendants in the lobby at intermission.
It always comes down to money, we know that as well as you. Lucky for you, all of our actors, board members, friends and crew do it for the love and passion they have for the theater, so we pass this savings on to you.

Season Subscription: You may also become a Season Subscriber for the rock-bottom price of $60 dollars! That's a savings of $20!! (based on Adult ticket prices) You may speak with someone in our box office at the show, or call our Reservation Desk at 419-472-6817.
Sold Houses: Do you have an organization, business, social group, or commune that desperately needs a night out? Money? All of the above? Would you like THE MOST Romantic spot to propose to your boyfriend/girlfriend? We've got you covered! The Village Players will gladly sell you a top-notch performance at a low-low price. What you get: 165 tickets to the season show of your choosing, access to the theatre an hour before show-time (unless otherwise arranged), punch, and Judy. Yes, Judy, the goddess of sold-houses, she'll help you get everyone in the right seat in time for curtain. You may pick from Wednesdays at 8 PM or Sundays at 7 PM or 2PM during the normal run of the show (show times are flexible also, but you must speak to Judy). Cost? $700 for a Play ($3.65 per ticket) and $800 for a Musical ($4.17 per ticket), you can re-sell the tickets at the price of your choosing. To become a member of The Village Players is to become a member of a close-knit family. The camaraderie shared by our membership, their love of the theatre, and the enjoyment our casts & crews feel during performances is what community theatre is all about. Membership is not limited to those that work on shows, on stage, behind the scenes & board members ... Oh No! We need all the help we can get, all of our Season Subscribers, and anyone who has a passion for theatre.
What's in it for you? One, a say! You have the ability to shape YOUR theatre, vote on by-law changes, elect board members, and give your ideas & feedback. The Village Players has been a work-in-progress for 55+ years, we don't intend to stand still now. Two, Parties! You get invited to all of our mixers, and our annual party, where we celebrate our Muses, theatre & the people that make it happen. Three, Newsletters! No junk-mail here, only the best in what YOUR theatre is up to now, where we're going, and how we're going to get there. Four, Work! I know it doesn't sound like your traditional idea of fun, but it is. When The Village has a work day, there's food, there's music, and there's all manner of hoopla as long as no one gets hurt. Besides, getting this place in tip-top condition is a lot easier with 30 people, than 10, it also reminds you just how much a part of the theatre you are .. you can tell your friends "I painted that wall" just think of the admiration! You're not required to come, but see if we give you punch at intermission.
